- Do I need to purchase my own football equipment?
- All equipment will be provided on loan to the player(s), excluding cleats. Metal cleats are prohibited as per league regulations.
- Is my equipment safe?
- Equipment is re-inspected each year and certified as per the manufacturer's standards.
- What condition is the equipment in?
- Equipment will be provided to you clean and in working order and must be kept the same.
- Who will look after my equipment?
- It is your responsibility to ensure your equipment is clean and in working order.
- How do I care for my jersey(s) and football pants?
- All clothing must be washed and dryed on a regular basis.
- Can I return my equipment whenever I want?
- When picking up and returning your equipment you must follow the schedule posted on the website or provided to you by your Team Manager.
- What if I cannot make the equipment return dates?
- Alternate arrangements are the responsibility of the parent and/or player.
- What if I do not return my equipment?
- Equipment return dates must be adhered to or fines will apply.
- What if there is a problem with my equipment or something does not fit properly?
- If you experience any problems with your equipment, please notify your Team Manager and it will be fixed or replaced as soon as possible.
- What happens if I do not properly care for my equipment?
- Equipment must be cared for, but we expect it to incur normal wear. If it is abused (i.e. throwing helmets on the sideline) and something breaks--you are responsible for the replacement cost.
- What happens if I lose, or do not return my equipment?
- If the equipment is lost or not returned, there will be a fee charged to compensate for the replacement of the equipment. The House League cost of equipment replacement is $300, and the OVFL cost of equipment replacement is $600.
- Can I purchase my football helmet, shoulder pads, or other equipment for school?
- Equipment purchases will be assessed on an individual basis. Please contact the equipment manager for more details.
