The Markham Raiders association is a very popular minor football club serving children 19 years old and under, based in York Region in the Province of Ontario.
The club has been running for nearly twenty-three years. In that time we have had over 700 young athletes participate in our House League or Rep program, attend our free training sessions or coach one of our teams. The Markham Raiders have very strong links to the community of York Region and around the GTA.
We are very proud of our achievements and the hard work of the many people connected with the club. Our 2009 football season culminated with the Tyke AA team claiming the title of Provincial Champions, winning both the COMFL Championship and T. Litzen Bowl.
There are however, many expenses connected with running the club and we rely for solely on our own fundraising events and the support of local businesses and corporations for support. We strongly believe that a partnership between your organization and the Markham Raiders would work very well and benefit both organizations.
Our teams are featured regularly on the sports pages of the local papers, and our Tyke AA team was seen on the front page sports last season. Our games are well attended by parents and their families as well as a growing number of spectators from the local community.
In return for your sponsorship you would to be listed as a key sponsor on all our club literature and website. In addition, a banner with your organization’s name and logo would be placed on the field during our home games.
Another sponsorship opportunity that we have available is to become a House League team sponsor. For the cost of $500.00 your company’s name will be screened onto the team’s jerseys, your logo will be placed in all game day programs and appear on our website.
Our organization sponsors and subsidizes a number of underprivileged children and families who may for whatever unexpected reason be facing a difficult time. It is our sponsors that help make this possible.
